Adetoun is a passionate storyteller and keen observer of life. She embarked on a life-changing journey when she left the familiarity of home in West Africa to start anew in Australia. As an introvert navigating a world far from the one she knew, she learned firsthand the challenges of cultural adjustment, loneliness, and self-discovery.

Now, after almost two decades of living abroad, she shares her experiences with honesty, humor, and wisdom. Through her writing, she hopes to inspire and support others who are embarking on similar journeys, offering practical advice and heartfelt reflections on what it truly means to build a life away from home.

When she’s not writing, Adetoun enjoys exploring new cultures, indulging in her love for cooking, and finding solace in art and nature. She is also a dedicated mum, entrepreneur, and creative spirit who continues to embrace the adventure of life in a foreign land, one step at a time.
