Mr Christopher Cooper

Chris Cooper is a Southern California native, born and raised in the beach town of Redondo Beach. Growing up by the ocean, Chris developed a deep love for the sea, spending countless hours fishing, diving, and surfing. This passion for the ocean led Chris to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where the rich biodiversity and proximity to the water offered a perfect setting for exploration and learning. In addition to his coastal adventures, Chris spent his childhood camping and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada mountains with his father, fostering a lifelong appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Alongside these experiences, Chris has always been creative, crafting his own fishing rods and hand-making custom fishing baits from wood. Chris holds a law degree but has also discovered a love for writing. Inspired by his connection to the ocean and the joy of welcoming a new daughter into the world, Chris began writing children's books that combine vibrant storytelling with valuable life lessons. Their stories, rooted in real-life experiences, aim to inspire a love for nature and adventure in both children and parents alike.
