Thea Whitehead

A former teacher with degrees in ECE and K-8 education, Thea (also known as Gail to some) has happy to now claim the title of Children's Picture Book Author in her retirement years.

She previously also obtained a certificate of completion from the Institute of Children's Literature, after which she had children's stories published in Soccer Jr. and The Friend magazines.

Thea is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to an amazing bunch of humans living in the USA. She recently re-married inheriting addition stepchildren and grandchildren living in Australia.

She is excited to be working on the Bright-Eyed Bugs Club series, as well as other picture books not related to the series. She is open to ideas for future books.
