Sanem Kilicli – Designer, Interior Architect & Storyteller I’m Sanem Kilicli, a designer, interior architect, and storyteller. The places I’ve lived and studied have shaped the way I see the world—growing up surrounded by the rich history of Istanbul, studying design in the enchanting atmosphere of Paris, and continuing my journey in the vibrant energy of New York. These experiences have deepened my love for creativity and taught me the magic of exploring, noticing the smallest details, and finding wonder in the ordinary. I’ve always been fascinated by the way nature and cities come together, how history leaves its quiet traces in streets and buildings, and how people and cultures shape the places we call home. Watching these connections unfold around me fills me with curiosity and makes me want to keep discovering, keep imagining, and keep creating. Just like you, I love stories! I believe that looking at the world through the eyes of a child—filled with curiosity and wonder—turns everyday moments into little adventures, full of surprises and joy. Have you ever watched a tiny seed patiently wait, changing shape again and again, until just the right moment to bloom? Or thought about how simple shapes come together to form the world around us—our homes, schools, museums, bakeries, and the cities we live in? These hidden patterns are everywhere, shaping the way we experience the world! 🙂 And have you ever wandered through a historic place and imagined the thousands of footsteps that have walked the same path before yours, across years, across centuries? These everyday discoveries inspire me. They weave their way into my stories, reminding me that there is always something new to see if we just pause and look closely. As a mom, storytelling is a part of my daily life. My son and I love inventing silly tales, laugh at our funniest ideas, and dream up new adventures together.
