About the Author

Simona is a thirteen-year-old storyteller and illustrator who has been creating imaginative worlds since she was very young. Under The Throne is her debut novel. When she isn’t writing or sketching, Simona enjoys arts and crafts, music, and outdoor adventures like tennis, rollerblading, and biking. She adores history, particularly fashion history, and even sews her own outfits.

With a global perspective shaped by her Slovak heritage and travels to many places, Simona’s love for exploring new cultures and climbing mountain ranges inspires much of her creativity. She can often be found with a book in hand, searching for her next great read or chatting about her favorite stories with friends.
