Producer Troy Reed is known in the street culture as the “Godfather of Urban Gangster Stories.” His outstanding work on notorious crime figures captures the attention of Warner Bros. Studios who struck a deal with him to produce a series of documentaries. Reed’s films include a number of sit down conversations with some of America’s most notorious gangsters such as: Guy Fisher the first Black owner of the Apollo Theater, and one of the main members of the Leroy Nicky Barnes’ crew called “The Council”.
